Trading statement for the year ended 31 December 2019

In compliance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it is satisfied that a reasonable
degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the next period to be reported on will differ
by at least 20% from the previous corresponding period.

Shareholders are hereby advised that, for the twelve months ended 31 December 2019, when
compared to the twelve months ended 31 December 2018 (“FY2018”):

•      earnings per share of the Company is expected to be between 12.24 and 13.48 US cents
       being an increase of between 98% and 118% from the earnings per share of 6.18 US cents
       reported for FY2018; and

•      headline earnings per share is expected to be 3.66 US cents, being an improvement of 6.80
       US cents from the headline loss per share of 3.14 US cents reported for FY2018.

The financial information contained in this announcement has not been audited, reviewed or
reported upon by the Company’s external auditors.

Arden Capital’s results for the year ended 31 December 2019 are expected to be released on or
about 29 May 2020.
