NOTIFICATION OF AN ACQUISITION OF BENEFICIAL INTERESTS IN SECURITIES

In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 (“the Companies Act”),
Regulation 121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations 2011 and paragraph 3.83(b) of the
Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are advised that enX has received
notifications from the following parties:

   •   MCC Contracts Pty Limited of the acquisition of enX shares, such that it now holds
       32.44% of enX’s total issued shares;
   •   The Inhlanhla Trust Investments Proprietary Limited of the disposal of enX shares,
       such that it now holds 0% of enX’s total issued shares;
   •   Legae Peresec Pty Limited of the disposal of enX shares, such that it now holds 2.57%
       of enX’s total issued shares; and
   •   Beaufort Cay Investments Limited disposal of enX shares, such that it now holds 0%
       of enX’s total issued shares.

As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, the Company has filed the
required notices with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
