TRADING STATEMENT
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2020

In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required to publish
a trading statement as soon as they become aware that the financial results for the period to
be reported upon next may differ by at least 20% from the financial results for the previous
corresponding period.

Primeserv accordingly advises that management’s review of the financial results expected
for the year ended 31 March 2020 has indicated that Primeserv will reflect earnings per
share of between 30.21 cents per share and 31.24 cents per share, in comparison to
earnings per share of 25.61 cents for the year ended 31 March 2019, and headline earnings
per share of between 30.75 cents per share and 32.58 cents per share in comparison to
headline earnings per share of 26.06 cents for the year ended 31 March 2019. This
represents an increase in earnings per share of between 18% and 22%, and an increase in
headline earnings per share of between 18% and 25%.

The financial results on which this trading statement has been based have not been
reviewed or reported on by the company’s auditors. The financial results of the company will
be published on or about Wednesday, 17 June 2020.
