FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE INTERIM PERIOD ENDED 31 MARCH 2020 AND CASH
DIVIDEND DECLARATION


1.   SALIENT FEATURES

     Revenue increased by 8.4% to R1,769 million, from R1,632 million in the prior
     corresponding period.

     Basic and headline earnings per share increased by 8.0% to 178.3 cents per share, from
     165.1 cents per share in the prior corresponding period.

     Interim dividend increased by 7.9% to 178.0 cents, from 165.0 cents in the prior
     corresponding period.

2.   DIVIDEND DECLARATION

     The directors resolved to declare an interim gross dividend of 178.0 cents (March 2019:
     165.0 cents) per share from income reserves in the period ended 31 March 2020. The
     dividend amount, net of South African dividend tax of 20%, is 142.4 cents (March 2019:
     132.0 cents) per share for those shareholders who are not exempt from Dividend Tax.
     The number of ordinary shares in issue at the declaration date is 349 799 102 and the
     income tax number of the Company is 9 675 107 719.

     The salient dates of the dividend declaration are:

     Declaration date:                                    Tuesday, 26 May 2020
     Last day to trade cum dividend                       Tuesday, 9 June 2020
     Trading ex-dividend commences                        Wednesday, 10 June 2020
     Record date                                          Friday, 12 June 2020
     Payment date                                         Monday, 15 June 2020

     Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Wednesday, 10
     June 2020 and Friday, 12 June 2020, both days inclusive.
