Accordingly, shareholders are hereby advised that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that for the six months ended 29 February 2020: • The Group expects to report basic earnings per share (“EPS”) of between 32.84 and 38.56 cents per share, representing an increase of between 14.78% and 34.78%, compared to EPS of 28.61 cents per share reported for the six months ended 28 February 2019; and • The Group expects to report headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) of between 32.95 and 38.67 cents per share, representing an increase of between 15.39% and 35.39%, compared to HEPS of 28.56 cents per share reported for the six months ended 28 February 2019. The increase in EPS and HEPS compared to the prior period is primarily as a result of organic growth as well as the positive contributions from recently acquired subsidiaries. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by AYO’s auditors.
