EXTENSION OF REPORTING PERIOD FOR THE FINALISATION OF THE ANNUAL REPORT

Shareholders are referred to the notice issued by the JSE Limited (“JSE”) on 1 April 2020 in
relation to paragraphs 3.16 and/or 3.19 or 7.4 of the JSE Listings Requirements regarding the
late publication of the provisional and/or annual report. A further notice was issued to the
market by the Financial Services Conduct Authority (“FSCA”) as well as another letter from
the JSE, dated 3 April 2020, where it communicated, inter alia, that issuers with a financial
year ended on 31 December 2019, 31 January 2020, 29 February 2020 and 31 March 2020
would be granted a two month extension to the timeframes contained in paragraphs 3.16,
3.19, 19.20 and paragraphs 7.4 and 7.5 of the JSE Listings Requirements and JSE Debt Listing
Requirements respectively (“2-month extension”).

Shareholders are advised that the Company published audited results within the normal
timeframe set out in the JSE Listings Requirements. The audited numbers as published will not
change. The Annual Report was due for publication and posting by 30 April 2020.

The Company hereby notifies shareholders that it intends to utilise the 2-month extension
provided as the Annual Report will only be completed once financial staff are able to return
to work. It is noted that the auditors also review the annual report to ensure that there is no
information contained therein which conflicts with the signed Annual Financial Statements.
Accordingly, the Annual Report, incorporating the annual financial statements and the
notice of Annual General Meeting for the year ended 31 December 2019, will be distributed
by no later than 30 June 2020. A further announcement will be published when the Annual
Report and notice of annual general meeting has been finalised and posted to shareholders.
