APPOINTMENT OF KONEHALI GUGUSHE AS INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND
MEMBER OF THE AUDIT COMMITTEE

The board of directors of ADvTECH is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Konehali Gugushe
as an independent non-executive director and a member of the Audit Committee with effect from 17
April 2020.

Ms Gugushe is a Chartered Accountant (SA) with more than 20 years working experience, spanning
over the financial services sector and development finance. Her work experience includes credit risk
management, investment analysis and private equity management.

She is currently the chief executive officer of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund. She is also a non-
executive board member for several organisations and is a council member of the University of
Johannesburg Council.

Commenting on the appointment, ADvTECH Chairman Chris Boulle said:
"We look forward to adding Kone’s broad range of technical expertise and leadership qualities to the
board, which will add value to our business at ADvTECH.”
