CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Shareholders are advised that Ms Nocawe Makiwane has resigned as an independent non-executive
director from the board of directors of Emira (“Board”), and as chairman of the Social and Ethics
Committee, with effect from 31 March 2020.

Ms Makiwane has served on the Board since 2006 and was due to retire in terms of the Board’s
independence policies.

The Board thanks Ms Makiwane for her service to the Company and wishes her well in her future
endeavours.
