DELAY IN PROVISION OF RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2019

Shareholders are hereby advised that, as a result of the lockdown announced by the President on 20
March 2020, the publication of the Company’s financial results for the year ended 31 December
2019 will be delayed. The lockdown required the Bakubung Platinum Mine to be put in to care and
maintenance for 21 days.

The Company has prepared its 2019 annual financial statements, taking into consideration the
possible impact of Covid – 19, and was preparing to release its integrated annual report including
the annual financial statements and notice of AGM (“IAR”) on 30 March 2020.

As the Company’s financial statements had not yet been formally approved by the Board at the time
of the announcement of the lockdown, and in line with IAS 10 “Events After the Reporting Period”,
the Company is required to make further assessments and update its forward looking assumptions
to review the possible impact, if any, of the lockdown on the financial results.

In light of the above, management and the auditors undertake to complete the abovementioned
assessments and release the IAR as soon as is practically possible.
