RESIGNATION OF COMPANY SECRETARY

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
shareholders are advised that Ms MDS Ramoetlo has tendered her resignation as Wescoal’s
Group Company Secretary and will leave the employ of the Company on 31 January 2020.

FluidRock Co Sec (Pty) Ltd has been appointed as the interim Group Company Secretary
with effect from 01 February 2020.

The Wescoal Board wishes to thank Ms Ramoetlo for her service.
