APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the board
of directors of the Company (“the Board”) wishes to advise that Etienne Swanepoel and
Tinus Slabber have been appointed as independent non-executive directors of the Company
with effect from 21 November 2019.

Etienne, BA LLB LLM (Tax) (UCT) - Practising attorney under the name and style of ER
Swanepoel and Associates, with specialities in M&A and corporate law. He was formerly a
M&A and corporate law partner at Webber Wentzel.

Etienne is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Law Faculty, University of Cape Town.

Tinus, B.Comm LLB (Stell) has been a Practicing attorney for almost 37 years. Tinus started
his legal career at Webber Wentzel’s Cape Town office and was a commercial and litigation
partner, until the growth of his own business interests overtook his ability to commit to the law
practice full time.

Tinus has extensive and ongoing commercial experience as an attorney and as an investor in
inter alia property development (both in South Africa and overseas), the retirement
industry, manufacturing, retail and mining.

The Board welcomes Etienne and Tinus and looks forward to their contribution to the
Company.
