TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2019

In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists
that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial
results for the previous corresponding period.

Nictus shareholders are advised that for the six months ended 30 September 2019, the Group’s
earnings per share (“EPS”) and headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) are expected to be a profit of
between 5.63 and 6.27 cents per share, which is between 74% and 94% higher than the previous
corresponding period’s EPS and HEPS of 3.24 cents per share.

The financial information contained in this announcement has not been reviewed or reported on by
the Company’s auditors and is the responsibility of the directors of the Company.

The financial results for the six months ended 30 September 2019 are expected to be published on
SENS on Friday, 29 November 2019.
