ABRIDGED CONSOLIDATED SUMMARISED ANNUAL FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED
30 JUNE 2019

The consolidated summarised financial results for the year ended 30 June 2019, as compared to the
year ended 30 June 2018 (“comparative year”), are set out below:

•     Operating loss increased by 50.3% to a loss of R20,965 million compared to a loss of R13,950
      million for the comparative year; and
•     Basic and headline loss per share both increased by 62.6% to a loss of 382 cents compared to a
      loss of 235 cents for the comparative year.
