CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements. Montauk Holdings
shareholders are advised that the following changes have been made to the Montauk Holdings
Board of Directors:

Mr. Martin Ryan has resigned as chief executive officer of the Company effective 30th September
2019. We thank Mr. Ryan for his services to the Company over the past 12 years and wish him
the best in his future endeavors.

Mr. Sean McClain (BSc, CPA, MBA) was appointed as the financial director of the Company in
2014 and will replace Mr. Ryan as the chief executive officer with effect from 1 October 2019.
Sean has more than 20 years of business and financial management experience including public
and private equity placements, debt structuring, acquisitions, financial reporting, compliance and
accounting. Prior to joining Montauk Energy in 2014, he held various positions with BPL Global
Limited, Bayer A.G., Dick’s Sporting Goods Incorporated and Arthur Anderson LLP.


Mr Kevin Van Asdalan (CPA, MBA) has been appointed as the financial director and an executive
director of the Company with effect from 1 October 2019.Kevin has been employed in the
position of Controller at the Company since March 2018. Kevin has 20 years of business and
financial management experience including financial reporting, corporate compliance,
acquisitions, and accounting. Prior to joining Montauk Energy in 2018 he held various positions
with L.B. Foster Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and Sisterson & Co LLP.
