APPOINTMENT OF A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND A NEW COMMITTEE MEMBER

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
securityholders are hereby advised that Mr Udo Lucht has been appointed as a non-
executive director of the Company with effect from 1 September 2019. Mr Lucht is a
qualified Chartered Accountant, CA(SA) and CFA charterholder with extensive experience
in both the financial services and mining sectors. He previously held the positions of
a non-executive director of Impala Platinum Limited as well as Vodacom Proprietary
Limited and currently serves as a non-executive director of YeboYethu (RF) Limited.


Securityholders are further advised that Ms Louisa Stephens, who currently chairs the
Audit & Risk Committee of the Company, has also been appointed as a member of the
Remuneration and Nominations Committee with effect from 1 September 2019.


The RBPlat Board endorses the abovementioned appointments and looks forward to their
respective future contributions.
