CLN549 Senior Unsecured Mixed Rate Credit Linked Note due 07
December 2025 - sponsored by The Standard Bank of South Africa
Limited (acting through its Corporate and Investment Banking
Division), issued under its Structured Note Programme, has been
amended as follows:

Paragraph 43(d) of the Applicable Pricing Supplement:

    By the deletion of the symbol “x” in the sixth line of
    paragraph 43(d) and the replacement thereof with the symbol
    “/”.

Paragraph 79.1.1 of the Applicable Pricing Supplement:

    By the insertion of the relevant brackets (i) before the
    word “I2025”, (ii) after the words “Aggregate Nominal
    Amount”, (iii) before the words “Specified Denomination”
    and (iv) after the words “Calculation Amount”.

This amendment is effective 12 June 2019 and has been made in
accordance with Condition 18.1 of The Standard Bank of South
Africa Limited’s Structured Note Programme dated 1 January 2017
to correct a manifest error.

Save for the rectification of the manifest error(s), the
remainder of the terms of the Applicable Pricing Supplement
remain unchanged.

The amended Applicable Pricing Supplement is available       for
inspection via the Issuer’s website:
