CHANGES TO THE BOARD

In compliance with the requirements of paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Limited, the Crookes Brothers Board (“the Board”) wishes to announce the following
changes to the Board of Directors:

Shareholders are advised that in terms of his employment contract, Mr Guy Clarke will retire
as Managing Director of the Group with effect from 31 July 2019.

Mr Clarke has made an immense contribution to the Group’s success and the board wishes
him well in his retirement.

Mr Kennett Sinclair has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Group with effect
from 1 August 2019.

Mr Sinclair is currently a partner at Exeo Capital and was previously head of Finance and
Operations at Sanlam International Investments. He has extensive experience in agricultural
investment and capital allocation decisions all of which stand him in good stead to lead the
group forward in the future.
