RESIGNATION OF INDEPENDENT - NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In compliance with rule 3.59 of the Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised as follows:

Ms Ndumi Medupe has resigned as an independent non-executive director of Alviva, chairperson of the
Audit and Risk Committee and member of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 31 May 2019.

Ndumi has taken up a position with a large financial institution that precludes her from continuing to
serve on the Alviva Board. The board of directors would like to thank Ndumi for her contribution to the
Company over the past five years and wishes her success in her new role.

A suitably qualified director, with the required skills and qualifications, will be identified in due course to
fill the vacant position of independent non-executive director, chairperson of Audit and the Risk
Committee and member of the Remuneration Committee.
