RETIREMENT AND RESIGNATION OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS:
RJ KHOZA and NV LILA
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby advised that after serving more than
13 years on the Board of Nampak Limited, Dr RJ Khoza has retired as non-
executive director with effect from 30 May 2019. Dr Khoza has had a long
and distinguished association with Nampak and we thank him for his
considerable contribution. In addition, Ms NV Lila, who was appointed
in 2014, has decided to resign as non-executive director of Nampak Limited
with effect from 30 May 2019. She will be taking up a full time position
with another listed company as Financial Director in the near future.
The Board of directors thank Dr Khoza and Ms Lila for their dedication
and valuable contribution during their tenure as directors and wish Dr
Khoza well in his retirement and Ms Lila all the best in her future
endeavours.
The Nominations and Remuneration Committee have commenced with the process
of identifying suitably qualified and experienced candidates to be
appointed and Nampak will shortly announce the appointment of additional
directors to fill the vacancies created.
