              Informative Notice (FTSE/JSE Africa Index Series)

                                                         04 April 2019
FTSE/JSE notes the simplification of the corporate structure in the Mondi group to be effected through a
transaction which will combine Mondi Plc (South Africa, MNP, GB00B1CRLC47) and Mondi Ltd (South
Africa, MND, ZAE000156550). Shareholders of Mondi Ltd will receive one share in Mondi Plc.

Subject to shareholder approval and based on the current timetable, FTSE/JSE anticipates the following
treatment:

Tuesday 25 June 2019:

Last day of trading in Mondi Ltd.

Wednesday 26 June 2019:

Mondi Ltd will be deleted from all FTSE/JSE Indexes (from the open).

Mondi Plc will remain within its existing FTSE/JSE Indexes with shares increased as per terms.


FTSE/JSE will issue further notices confirming the index changes in due course.
