CHANGES TO THE BOARD

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the board of
directors of the Company (“the Board”) wishes to advise of the following changes to the
Board.

Consistent with transition plans and having fulfilled his duties to restructure the business and
support the new management team on its strategic alignment, the Board wishes to advise
that Mr Tyrone Moodley (“Mr Moodley”) has stepped down as acting chief executive officer
of the Company, and has been re-appointed as a non-executive member of the Company,
both with effect from today, 25 March 2019. The Board extends their appreciation to Mr
Moodley for his contribution to the business over the past year.

Mr Dylan Pienaar (“Mr Pienaar”), who assumed the role of chief operating officer, with effect
from 14 March 2018, has moved into the role of chief executive officer with effect from today,
25 March 2019. Mr Pienaar, who brings experience in dealing with global QSR brands in
South Africa, will be supported by Hannes Van Eeden, the newly appointed CFO. The Board
wishes him well in his new role.

In addition, Mr Neil Brimacombe (“Mr Brimacombe”) has resigned as an independent non-
executive director of the Company, also with effect from today. The Board would like to thank
Mr Brimacombe for his guidance through the past financial year which saw an executive
transition, as well as the restructuring of the business. Following the resignation Mr
Brimacombe, Mr Grant Pattison has been appointed as a member of the audit committee,
also with effect from today.
