CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS – APPOINTMENT OF FINANCIAL DIRECTOR

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
Omnia (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Mr Seelan Gobalsamy has been appointed as
the Group Financial Director with effect from 1 March 2019. Seelan will no longer be an independent non-
executive of the Board and will fulfil the role as an executive director.

Seelan, who is a chartered accountant and has completed an Advanced Management Program at Harvard
University, was appointed as an independent non-executive director of Omnia in September 2018. He is
an internationally experienced business leader with over 20 years in senior leadership roles. With
experience in entering new markets, acquiring new businesses and achieving large scale turnarounds that
generate value, Seelan has operated at board level across multiple geographies.

As a function of his extensive financial services experience and his tenure as a non-executive director of
Omnia, Seelan enjoys a unique understanding of Omnia’s drive to move beyond commodities and into the
innovative solutions space as well as its global expansion strategy. The function of the Group Financial
Director will be expanded to one of partnering closely with the CEO to drive the execution of the strategy
to realise the transition of Omnia from a local to a global business. His significant prior experience will
benefit the Group as it repositions and restructures future growth.

The Board welcomes Seelan into his new role within the Omnia Group and looks forward to his continued
contribution.
