CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that Mr Ken
Hopkins has resigned as independent non-executive director of the Company with effect from 25 February
2019. The Sygnia board expresses its sincere thanks to Mr Hopkins for his services to the Company.

Shareholders are further advised that Ms Ropfiwa Sithubi has been appointed as an independent non-
executive director of Sygnia with effect from 26 February 2019. Ms Sithubi is currently a lecturer in
accounting at the University of Cape Town while she studies towards a Master of Commerce degree in
Financial Reporting, Analysis and Governance. She joined the staff at UCT in February 2018 after leaving her
position as a senior audit manager at KPMG. Ms Sithubi holds a CA(SA) qualification, as well as an Advanced
Certificate in Emerging Markets and Country Risk Analysis from Fordham University.
