APPOINTMENT OF FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the Johannesburg Stock
Exchange (“JSE”), shareholders are advised that Mr David Swart (“Dave”) has been appointed
as Financial Director of Adrenna with effect from 21 February 2019.
Dave is a CA(SA) and has a B.Compt (Hons)I and Certificate in Theory of Accountancy from
UNISA as well as a B.Com from the University of Cape Town.
Dave joined KPMG as an articled clerk in January 1987 up until 1990. From February 1990 to
March 1992 he completed his compulsory military service with the South African Receiver of
Revenue. Between April 1992 to February 2006 Dave held posts as Managing Director and
Financial Director at various companies.
From March 2006 up until March 2011 Dave was CEO, Sub-Saharan Africa at Kuehne + Nagel.
From January 2012 to February 2015 he was Group Managing Director – Sub-Saharan Africa at
Cevalogistics SA (Pty) Limited. From March 2015 to December 2016 he was appointed as CEO,
Sub-Saharan Africa at Lonrho Logistics (Pty) Limited.
Dave acted as an independent consultant from January 2017 to date. The Board welcomes
Dave as Financial Director of Adrenna.
