RESIGNATION OF AUDIT FIRM DUE TO MERGER

Shareholders are advised that in terms of paragraph 3.78 of the JSE Listings Requirements
(“Listings Requirements”) that the Company has been informed by its audit firm, Grant
Thornton Johannesburg Partnership, that there has been a change in its network firm
membership from Grant Thornton to BDO. The change was initiated, following the merger of
Grant Thornton Johannesburg Partnership and BDO South Africa Inc (“BDO”), on 1
December 2018.

Due to a conflict of interest between the Company’s company secretary, Statucor (Pty) Ltd,
and BDO, the Company cannot appoint BDO as its auditor firm and therefore the audit firm
has had to resign with effect from today, 4 December 2018.

The Company has today commenced a process to appoint a new audit firm. Shareholders
will be advised of such appointment in due course.
