 VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCMENT – COMPLETION OF ACQUISITION OF THE SHORT-TERM FACE
    TO FACE ADVISORY INSURANCE BROKERAGE BUSINES OF ABSA INSURANCE AND
                FINANCIAL ADVISERS PROPRIETARY LIMITED (“AIFA”)

As communicated on 12 February 2018, PSG Konsult, through its subsidiary PSG Wealth Financial
Planning Proprietary Limited, concluded an agreement to acquire the remaining short-term face-to-
face advisory insurance brokerage business from AIFA.

PSG Konsult is pleased to announce that all conditions precedent to the transaction have been
fulfilled, and that the transaction will be effective 1 December 2018.

This acquisition is strategically aligned to PSG Konsult’s acquisition of AIFA’s Commercial and
Industrial short-term insurance brokerage business, as announced on SENS on 28 May 2018. The
acquired business is made up of 62 advisers and over 28 000 clients. It will seamlessly integrate into
the PSG Konsult distribution network of PSG Insure advisers, enhancing PSG Insure’s footprint across
South Africa.

The acquisition falls below the threshold that requires disclosure in terms of the JSE Listings
Requirements. However, the PSG Konsult board deemed it appropriate to update shareholders on the
outcome of the acquisition, in the interests of full transparency.
