ATLATSA ANNOUNCES ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING DATE EXTENSION

June 27, 2018 Atlatsa Resources Corporation (“Atlatsa” or the “Company”) (TSX: ATL; JSE: ATL) has
received consent from the Toronto Stock Exchange (“TSX”) to extend the date of its annual general
meeting of shareholders to a date later than June 29, 2018, being the deadline stipulated under the
terms of the TSX Company Manual.

It is the Company’s intention to present Phase 2 of the 2017 Restructure Plan with Anglo American
Platinum Limited for approval of Atlatsa shareholders at the annual general meeting and special
meeting of the Company expected to take place by September 30, 2018. Shareholders are referred to
the announcement published by the Company on July 21, 2017 for further information on Phase 2 of
the 2017 Restructure Plan, which remains subject to, inter alia, finalisation and execution of definitive
transaction agreements and receipt of all corporate and regulatory approvals, including the approval of
Atlatsa shareholders.
