TRADING STATEMENT: 52 WEEKS ENDING 24 JUNE 2018

On 15 January 2018 WHL released a trading statement and on 24 January 2018 followed it
up with a further trading statement on the Stock Exchange News Service ("SENS") ("January
Announcements"), advising shareholders of the impact on its earnings per share ("EPS")
arising from the A$712.5 million impairment charge (‘impairment’) recognised in the 26-week
period ended 24 December 2017.

In accordance with the JSE Listings Requirements and as a result of the impairment disclosed
in the January Announcements, shareholders are advised that EPS for the 52-week period
ending 24 June 2018 is expected to be more than 20% (more than 113.3 cents) lower than
the reported EPS for the 52-week period ended 25 June 2017 of 566.7 cents.

A further trading statement will be issued during July 2018 providing specific guidance.

WHL's year-end results for the current year are scheduled to be announced on SENS on or
about 23 August 2018.

The estimated financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
audited, reviewed or reported on by WHL's external auditors.
