In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from the comparative period (i.e. 30 June 2013). Accordingly, shareholders are advised that: - operating profit for the financial year end 30 June 2014 is expected to be between 25% and 30% lower than that for the comparative period; - net cash from operating activities is expected to be between 70% and 75% higher than that reported in the comparative period; - the biological asset value at 30 June 2014 is expected to increase by a maximum of 1% from the value in the comparative period; - earnings per share for the financial year ended 30 June 2014 are expected to be between 50% and 60% lower than those reported in the comparative period, as a result of the lower operating profit and change to the biological asset; and - headline earnings per share for the financial year ended 30 June 2014 are expected to be between 50% and 60% lower than reported in the comparative period.
