INTEREST PAYMENT ON CONVERTIBLE BOND

Bondholders of the JD Group Convertible Bond are hereby advised that   the JDGCB convertible bond will commence trading ex-
interest from the close of trade on 7 June 2013 until the close of     trade on 19 June 2013, with respect to the interest
coupon period that commenced on 20 December 2012 and that ends on 19   June 2013. The interest amount to be paid on 20 June
2013 will be ZAR375 for each ZAR10,000 of principal amount. The next   interest coupon period will commence on 20 June 2013
(inclusive) and end on 20 December 2013 (exclusive).

The salient dates relating to this interest payment are as follows:
