CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS                                                
The board of directors of Alliance Mining is pleased to announce the            
appointment of Dr.Steven Firer as an Independent, Non Executive director with   
effect from today.  Dr. Firer will also serve as a member on the board`s audit  
committee.                                                                      
Dr. Firer holds the following degrees:

-    Bachelor of Accounting Science Honours - University of South Africa: 1983  
-    Masters in Business Administration - Charles Sturt University (Australia): 
    2001 Doctor of Business Administration - University of Natal Durban: 2003   
-    IFRS Diploma (ACCA) - 2007                                                 
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) and registered with the JSE as    
an IFRS advisor.
