TRADING UPDATE                                                                  
Shareholders of York are advised that the diluted headline earnings per share   
for the twelve month ended 31 December 2007 is expected to be between 20% to 22%
greater than the diluted headline earnings per share for the previous           
corresponding period.                                                           
The reviewed interim financial results of York for the twelve months ended 31   
December 2007 will be published on or about 25 March 2008.
