APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR                                                         
In compliance with section 3.59 to 3.62 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE 
Limited, shareholders are advised that Anthony                                  
("Tony") Welton has been appointed to the board of directors of TeliMatrix as an
independent non-executive director and chairman of the audit and risk committee,
with effect from 8 February 2008.                                               
Tony is a chartered accountant and brings a wealth of financial and operational 
experience to the Group.  He was financial director of Kohler Limited from 1992 
to 1999 and financial director of Malbak Limited from 1999 to 2004. More        
recently, Tony has been a financial consultant for FRM, the business recovery   
specialists.
