CHANGE IN FINANCIAL YEAR-END                                                    
Shareholders of York are advised that the financial year-end of the Company     
has been changed from 31 December to 30 June of each year. The reason for       
this change is to align the financial year end of the listed holding company    
with that of the operational companies subsequent to the acquisition of         
Global Forest Products in July 2007. The next audited year-end financial        
results of York will be for the 18 months ended 30 June 2008.
