VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 18, 2007) - Eastern Platinum    
Limited (TSX:ELR)(AIM:ELR)(JSE:EPS) - Further to the announcement made by the   
Company on 12 October 2007, in regard to the grant of options in accordance with
the Company`s Stock Option Plan, application has been made to AIM to increase   
the Company`s Block Admission Scheme by 15,090,000 shares, each of which may be 
allotted                                                                        
and issued in due course should the options granted under the Company`s option  
plan be exercised.                                                              
As of October 17, 2007 the Company has a total issued share capital of          
668,128,194 shares.
