Simon Murray (35) BComm, CFA Simon currently is a private equity transactor at RMB Ventures. 2. Gavin Tipper (42) CA(SA), MBA, BComm Gavin is currently the Chief Operating Officer, Coronation Holdings Limited, subsequently Coronation Investments & Trading Limited. 3. Tlhopheho Modise (48) MBA Tlhopheho is currently the CEO of Grandbridge Trading publishers of TRIBUTE, a magazine for black professionals. Tlhopheho also serves on the credit committee at the IDC and also served on the board of Global Forest Products companies until July 2007. 4. Shakeel Meer (45) MBL, B Sc Shakeel is currently a member of the IDC`s Executive Management with overall responsibility for IDC investments in the Metals, Wood and Paper, Chemicals, Textiles and Clothing and Construction related sectors as well as overall responsibility for managing off-balance sheet and ring-fenced funds. 5. Paul Botha (44) BA, LLB, HDip Tax, HDip Law Paul is an attorney and notary by training and is the CEO of Metier Investment and Advisory Services (Pty) Limited. Paul has extensive corporate finance and corporate Law experience. Resignations: 6. William Marshall-Smith (29) CA(SA) William served as a Blackstar Investors representative on the Board since February 2007 Blackstar facilitated and guided York`s strategy since it acquired control of York in February 2007. This resulted in the major company transforming acquisition of the Global Forest Products which was concluded in July 2007. William has elected to step down in favour of an independent industry specialist in order to give the new board more balance. William will become an alternate to Andrew Bonamour.
