Shares in South Africa's Tongaat fall to lowest level since 1993

JOHANNESBURG, March 11 (Reuters) - Shares in South Africa's Tongaat Hulett fell more than 14 percent early on Monday, after its announcement last week that it had appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to review past accounting practices.

The sugar producer, which flagged last month that it would fall to a full-year loss, traded at its lowest level since 1993 down 14.8 percent to 18.75 rand by 0722 GMT. (Reporting by Tanisha Heiberg Editing by Edmund Blair)
