His progression to their asset management arm as a Fixed Interest Analyst was noted, and when the opportunity arose he joined Kimon Boyiatjis and his team at Syfrets as a Quantitative Fixed Interest Analyst. His responsibilities included fundamental analysis, credit analysis, inflation linked securities and securitised assets. In 2001, together with Kimon, he Joined Abvest Associates as a fixed interest analyst and fund manager. Sidney was instrumental in the design, testing, launch and management of the ABSA Inflation Beater Unit Trust Fund. At Trident, Sidney's responsibilities include management and analysis of fixed income and real return portfolios.
