Following interaction with shareholders and given the Company’s strategy to exit Western Europe and increase
its focus on the Central and Eastern European (“CEE”) markets, some limited further changes are being made to
MAS’ Board of directors (“Board”) to ensure that it benefits from appropriate skill sets and a demographic
focused on and compatible with CEE as its targeted investment area. Accordingly, shareholders are advised that
Glynnis Carthy and Jaco Jansen have tendered their resignations as independent non-executive directors of the
Company with effect from 30 December 2019. The Board wishes to express its gratitude and appreciation to Glynnis
and Jaco for their valuable contributions during their terms as non-executive directors of MAS.

The Board has commenced the process of identifying, and is considering, suitable independent external candidates.
Further announcements will be made in due course.

MAS is listed on the Main Board of the JSE and is listed and admitted to trading on the Euro MTF market of the
Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
