                               CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Shareholders are referred to the circular issued by MAS on 28 October 2019 relating, inter alia, to the
reconstitution of the board of directors, and are advised that the board of directors is pleased to announce the
appointments of Claudia Pendred and Brett Nagle as independent non-executive directors of the Company with
effect from 31 December 2019 and 10 December 2019, respectively.

Claudia is an experienced board member and has served as a non-executive director on a variety of boards,
including those of a number of listed and private companies (property and other sectors), funds (property and
equity) and charities.

With over 30 years of experience, Claudia has most recently been working in the development sector for the
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where she was a director for nearly 10 years.
During this time she first managed the office in Bucharest, where she was responsible for the EBRD’s investments
in Romania, and subsequently ran the EBRD’s Property and Tourism Team in London, which is involved in over
30 countries. Prior to this Claudia worked for the World Bank and in the private sector for two investment banks,
namely N.M. Rothschild & Sons and J. Henry Schroder Wagg. She has significant experience of equity
investments (direct and via funds), debt investments (corporate and project financing) and has advised on many
mergers, acquisitions as well as privatisations. Her focus has been on the Central and Eastern European market
for over 25 years.

Claudia holds a BA (University of Oxford), MA (Harvard), MBA (INSEAD), and is based in London, United

Brett joined Rand Merchant Bank, a division of FirstRand Bank Limited in 2002, where he worked until 2013,
gaining extensive investment banking experience. Thereafter, he was Head of Investments for Royal Bafokeng
Holdings Proprietary Limited and also served as a non-executive director of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited.
Currently, Brett is an independent non-executive director of Attacq Limited and a director of Safe Mode
Investments Proprietary Limited t/a Panacea Capital which focuses on investment management.

Brett holds a BCom (University of Kwa-Zulu Natal) and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa). Brett
is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

MAS is listed on the Main Board of the JSE and is listed and admitted to trading on the Euro MTF market of the
Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
