CHANGE IN NATURE OF ASSOCIATES HOLDINGS IN MAS SECURITIES AND DEALINGS IN SECURITIES BY AN ASSOCIATE OF
A DIRECTOR OF MAS
As announced on 17 October 2017, Morné Wilken will be taking over as Chief Executive Officer of MAS,
effective 1 January 2018, and consequently, is in the process of restructuring his personal affairs before
relocating to the Isle of Man.
Shareholders are advised of the transfer of 226 200 MAS shares at a price of ZAR 32.99 (for a total value of
ZAR 7 462 338.00) from the Trinsam Trust (the “Trust”), an associate of Morné Wilken by virtue of him being
a trustee and beneficiary of the Trust, to Morné directly, thus changing the nature of his interest from indirect
beneficial to direct beneficial. The transaction was conducted off-market and clearance to deal was received.
In order to settle the capital gains tax related to the transfer of shares from the Trust to Morné, shareholders
are advised of the following information in respect of dealings in securities by the Trust:
