CHANGE IN AUDITORS

The board of directors of the company, through the audit, risk and
information technology committee, wishes to inform shareholders that,
following a formal tender process, Ernst & Young Inc has been appointed
as the company’s external auditor, with Mr Lucian Rolleston as the
designated audit partner, effective for the financial year ending 26
September 2021. This appointment is in alignment with the principles
of good governance and pre-empting mandatory audit firm rotation.

The appointment will be put to the shareholders for approval at the
annual general meeting scheduled for 4 March 2021.

Deloitte will continue to audit the group’s accounts in respect of the
financial year ended 27 September 2020. Deloitte’s appointment as
external auditor will end on conclusion of its responsibilities relating
to the 27 September 2020 financial year audit, which is expected to be
at or about the end of November 2020.
