APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND MEMBER OF AUDIT AND RISK
COMMITEE: RICHARD MARNEY


The Board has approved the appointment of an independent non-executive director with immediate
effect:

• Richard Marney


Mr Richard Marney is a British Citizen, and has a broad and varied 45-year career in emerging
markets banking, investing, economics and asset management. He has been involved in
senior-level business development, risk-management, fundraising and operating roles in
commercial and investment banking, micro-finance, impact investment asset management,
and private equity while working in globally recognised financial services organisations. Mr
Marney has extensive experience on company boards of directors as well as investment and
advisory committees across a broad range of sectors and regions. He has a strong track record
in the design and execution of global financial strategies, broadening investor bases, and
enhancing liquidity. Mr Marney currently resides in Malaysia but serves on various boards
globally, including the African Guarantee Fund (Mauritius) and the Mikro Kapital Group
(Luxembourg), as well as acting as a Senior Advisor – Risk Management of ResponsAbility
(Zurich), where he was previously the Head – Risk Management. The group is excited to
welcome Mr Marney to the board of Trustco and is confifdent that his experience will be of
tremendous value to not only the board, but the group as a whole.

The Bank of Namibia approved Mr Marney’s appointment.


Mr Marney will also serve as an independent non-executive director for Trustco and its subsidiaries
throughout the Trustco group of companies and will be appointed as a member on Trustco’s Audit
and Risk committee. Trustco intends to announce the appointment of additional independent non-
executive directors in due course.
