NOTIFICATION OF UPDATE OF AASAF DMTN PROGRAMME

In terms of the Debt Listing Requirements, noteholders are
advised that the Issuer’s (AASAF) 2018 Domestic Medium Term Note
(DMTN) Programme (“the Programme”) has been updated via a
Supplement which has been approved by the JSE on 12 June 2019.
The updated Supplement is available for inspection on the
Guarantor’s (Anglo American Plc) website at the following link:
www.angloamerican.com

A summary of the relevant changes to           the   2018   Programme
Memorandum via Supplement are as follows:

   •   Updated information about the Issuer, the Guarantor and
       the Anglo American Group.
   •   Technical changes to align the Programme Memorandum with
       the latest JSE Debt Listings Requirements.
   •   Changes to align the Programme Memorandum with the latest
       applicable legislation.
