APPOINTMENT OF GROUP COMPANY SECRETARY

In compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
that Avanthi Parboosing has been appointed as the Group Company Secretary of Life Healthcare with
effect from 1 March 2019.

Avanthi holds a Masters degree in Political Science and International Relations and has considerable
experience in the areas of governance, ethics, risk and compliance having served as the company secretary
of a number of JSE listed companies in the past nineteen years.

The Board welcomes Avanthi and wishes her the best in her new role.
