(“PPC” or the “Company”)

Change of Company Secretary

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are
hereby advised that Mr Jacobus Hendrik De La Rey Snyman has resigned as Company Secretary of the
company with effect from 31 January 2019.

The Board of Directors (Board) has commenced the process of identifying a suitable candidate to fill
the position and shareholders will be updated accordingly.

In order to ensure compliance with the requirement of filling the vacancy within 60 business days as
stipulated in Section 86 (4) of the Companies Act 71 of 2008, the Board has appointed Mr Paul
Philippus Maré, PPC’s internal general counsel, as Interim Company Secretary with effect from 1
February 2019 until such time as a suitable replacement has been appointed as a permanent Company
Secretary.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Snyman for his valuable contribution over
the past eleven years and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
