CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS (‘THE BOARD’)

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are
advised that Mr. Gert J Coffee will retire as an executive director of the Company with effect from 31
December 2018, but will remain on the Board as non-executive director.

Mr. Coffee served on the Board of the Company as an executive director since November 2010. During
his tenure, he made a significant contribution to the company in his role as Chief Operations Officer and
thereafter as executive director responsible for Continuous Improvement.

The Chairman and the Board expresses their appreciation for his commitment as director and wish Mr.
Coffee all the best in his future endeavors and the best of health.
