CHANGES TO BOARD AND COMMITTEES
Board
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 (a) of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised that with effect from Friday 23 November 2018, Ms Zimkhitha Zatu was appointed as an
independent non-executive director to the Sun International Board and as an additional member
to the Company’s audit committee.
Zimkhitha who is a qualified chartered accountant by profession, holds a Bachelor of Commerce
and a Higher Diploma in Accountancy qualifications from the University of the Witwatersrand and
is a CA (SA). At present Zimkhitha is studying towards her Masters in Corporate Finance from
the University of Liverpool in the UK.
In 2015, Zimkhitha was selected as one of the Mail and Guardian’s Young 200 South Africans.
Zimkhitha is an entrepreneur and is currently the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ZAAM
Investments which provides corporate finance advisory services to various corporates. Zimkhitha
is also a shareholder and a director of Mathupha Capital, which has strategic investments in rail
infrastructure construction and manufacturing in South Africa as well as on the African continent.
The Board welcomes Zimkhitha as an independent non-executive director to Sun International
and looks forward to her contribution to the group.
Committees
Shareholders are advised that with effect from Thursday 22 November 2018, Mr Jabu Mabuza
was appointed as an additional member to Sun International’s Remuneration, Nomination and
Investment committees while Mr Vusi Khanyile was appointed as an additional member to the
Company’s Social and Ethics Committee.
