APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR

Shareholders are advised that the board of directors ("Board") has appointed Mark Stirton as
Group Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") effective 1 January 2019. Mark’s appointment follows
the announcement in October that Mark Blair, current CFO, will succeed Stuart Bird as CEO
from the same date.

Mark Stirton (39) is CA (SA) qualified and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants. He has been with the Company since June 2014 and in his current position as
Group Corporate Finance Director since April 2017.

Shareholders are advised further that Mmaboshadi Chauke (Shadi) has been appointed as
an independent non-executive director of the Company and member of the Audit and
Compliance Committee with immediate effect. Shadi is a member of the Institute of Directors
Southern Africa, a CA (SA) and a former registered auditor, having served five years as a
partner at Deloitte & Touche South Africa until February 2018. She currently works as an
executive producer in television and film, is a freelance actress and holds board positions in
other private companies.

The Board congratulates Mark Stirton on his appointment and welcomes Shadi to the Mr Price
Group.
