Q VAN ROOYEN AND RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR REMAINING
TRANSACTIONS


1. Update on loan from Dr Q van Rooyen

Trustco shareholders (“Shareholders”) are referred to the cautionary announcement released on
SENS on 28 September 2018 and the renewal of cautionary announcement released on SENS on
8 October 2018 (“Cautionary Announcements”).


Using the definitions in the Cautionary Announcements, Shareholders are advised that in respect of
the Loan Agreement with Dr Q van Rooyen and Next Investments which is a related party transaction
and the Specific Issue for which a circular is currently being prepared for distribution to Shareholders
(“Circular”), irrevocable undertakings to vote in favour of the resolutions contained in the Circular
have been received by the Company from 76.48% of Shareholders who are eligible to vote on such
resolutions.

Shareholders are longer required to exercise caution whilst trading in shares of Trustco in respect of
the loan from Dr Q van Rooyen.

2. Renewal of cautionary announcement

Shareholders are referred to the Cautionary Announcements wherein it was disclosed that the
Company had entered into advanced negotiations, which if successfully concluded may have a
material effect on the price of the Company’s securities and are advised that until a full announcement
is made in respect of these negotiations (of which the loan from Dr Q van Rooyen is now excluded)
Shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s securities until a further
announcement is made.
